We smash smoothies everyday! Especially when they are so refreshing, rehydrating and easy to make! Every morning we blend these super quick and yummy smoothies to get the nutrients back into our bodies after our intense at-home Hot Yoga sessions!
Do you need a detox? Pecans are rich in age-defying antioxidants and are a great way to refuel (as long as you aren’t having them in pecan pie!) This smoothie recipe is a much healthier way to consume them! So, peak your hot yoga practice with our Peak Performance Pecan Smoothie recipe!
Peak Performance Pecan Smoothie
½ cup pecans
½ cup coconut milk
½ cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp honey
5 ice cubes
Blend all ingredients (and remember to pop a couple of extra pecans in your mouth for sampling while you’re preparing your smoothie- they are surprisingly sweet!).
Pour into a cold glass and dust with cinnamon. Enjoy!
