This recipe is the ultimate alternative to coffee (especially when you are in detox mode)! Matcha is a concentrated, powdered version of green tea, meaning that it has even more benefits including increased energy and a speedier metabolism! One cup of matcha tea has the equivalent of ten cups of green tea – so that is something to get excited about!

For a warming, grounding treat, our cacao-matcha latte is the perfect pick-me-up for any busy morning!
1 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
1 teaspoon raw cacao powder
½ teaspoon matcha powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence or powder
1 teaspoon rice malt syrup or natural stevia to sweeten (optional)
Warm the almond milk in a saucepan
Add the other ingredients and whisk slightly until combined
Once combined and heated, pour into a mug ready to sip!
Once you go cacoa-matcha latte, you will never go back!
